As of September 24, 2026, the median nightly price of a finca for rent in Colombia is COP 850,000, based on 1,385 listings published on Finkeros. A finca is a country house rented whole, usually with a pool, for a group or a family. Half of the listings fall between COP 600,000 and COP 1,200,000. Pereira is the most searched municipality and the one that gets the most contacts. Eight out of ten people who contact an owner ask for the phone number instead of writing.
How much does a finca cost per night, by municipality?
These are the fifteen municipalities with the most rental listings. The middle range is the interval that contains half of the municipality's listings (from the 25th to the 75th percentile). A departamento is a Colombian state.

Manizales and Melgar have the lowest medians in the table. Anapoima, Pereira, San Jerónimo and Villavicencio share the highest, COP 1,000,000. With samples of fewer than thirty listings, a couple of large fincas can move the median, so read the figures at the bottom of the table with that in mind.
Which destinations do people search for most?
Between August 25 and September 23, 2026, people ran 26,031 searches on Finkeros. 20,933 of them asked for a specific municipality. These are the ten most searched:

Those ten municipalities account for 60% of searches by municipality. Pereira alone takes one in six. Two municipalities in Santander near Bucaramanga, Lebrija and Piedecuesta, make the list with far fewer published listings than the rest. Almost all searches are for rentals: only 377 were for fincas for sale.
How many searches find nothing?
1,065 of the 26,031 searches, or 4.1%, returned no fincas. A search with no results almost never means the municipality has no fincas. Pereira, with 356 listings, had 27 searches with no results. What fails is the combination of place and filters: a price cap or a climate that no finca in that municipality matches.
How do people contact owners?
Between August 27 and September 23, 2026, there were 1,883 contacts from finca listing pages. 1,533 were requests to see the owner's phone number (81%) and 350 were messages sent through the form (19%). In the finca market people call; the form is the second choice.
The municipalities with the most contacts are Pereira (372), Barbosa (239), Copacabana (101) and Lebrija (100). Lebrija has ten rental listings within this report's price range and received as many contacts as Copacabana, which has 34.
We started logging contacts on August 27, 2026. There is no comparable count before that date, so this report does not say whether contacts are going up or down.
Do the data show seasons?
Not yet. Searches have been logged since August 25 and contacts since August 27, 2026: that is one month, with no long weekends and no peak season. Any conclusion about December, Semana Santa (Holy Week, the week before Easter) or the mid-year holidays will have to wait until those dates have gone by with the tracking in place.
What these numbers don't tell you
They are asking prices, not paid prices. It is what the owner publishes, not what is agreed in the end.
They are not peak-season prices. In December, Holy Week and during puentes festivos, you usually pay above these figures and with a minimum number of nights. A puente festivo is a long weekend: Colombia moves most public holidays to the following Monday, which gives the country about 18 three-day weekends a year, and everyone heads out of the cities at once.
Finca size is not controlled for. A municipality with many large fincas comes out with a high median without the night costing more per person.
They are not compared with the previous report. In the article on how much it costs to rent a finca, from August 21, the price floor was COP 50,000. Here it is COP 150,000, so the medians are not comparable one to one.
Methodology
Prices. Rental listings with published status, excluding deleted ones, priced between COP 150,000 and COP 10,000,000 per night. The COP 150,000 floor leaves out listings that quote per person; the ceiling leaves out sale prices typed by mistake into rental listings. We calculate the median and the 25th and 75th percentiles, not the average. Cut-off date: September 24, 2026. Sample: 1,385 listings.
Searches. Internal search log between August 25 and September 23, 2026, excluding traffic identified as bots.
Contacts. Internal contact log between August 27 and September 23, 2026: every time someone asks to see a phone number or sends the form on a listing page. We exclude traffic identified as bots; in this period no contact was flagged as such.
